OCEANO DEPOT
This Southern Pacific Railroad Station was the center of most of the commercial and transportation activities in South San Luis Obispo County from 1904 until the 1950's. Retired from service in 1973, it has now moved 400 yards north of the original site and has been restored by volunteer efforts for its new role as a community center.
The Oceano Depot Museum & Community Center is a non-profit organization that depends on generous donations to operate. Please consider donating to help keep this iconic piece of history alive! To make a donation, visit us during tour hours or email Linda Austin at hguiton@aol.com
